Queen of the Changelings Chrysalis.

I made her horn and wings as a quick sculpt in Meshmixer06. The horn turned out okay but the wings were a pain.
The idea just wouldn't leave me alone ^^;

If you feed enough love to a changeling in its natural state does it turn into a flutter pony?

As being a 3D modeller myself, I will mostly give my opinion on the models and the materials.

the environment seems to be a ripp-off of something so I'm not going to talk about that.

THe changeling model is a mashup of a lot of meshes but none of them blend together really well. (except for the eyes and the body). The wings and horn do not even fit with the body, because the materials fo those meshes are from a whole different type. this is just simply dreadfull. The mane and the tail are not of the same type, (tail==mesh, mane==planes(?) )

it may look awesome to outsiders because of the glosiness on the body, but other than that, it isn't usefull in a game or video. For this changeling to be usefull, make holes in the legs and create new materials for both the horn and the wings that are based on the body. for the mane and tail, I think that a hair-and-fur modifier or a hairfarm will help.

The originality score is set to 1.5 because... well, it isn't original. the technique is set to 4.5 because it is hard to create a correct model, and despite my critique you have done well.

It is truly amazing! I love the detail, she looks almost exactly the same from the show. The mane is beautiful, well designed. Her wings look very pretty. The way you posed her in the picture is truly inspirational. You are very good at designing in Gmod. Keep it up! Also, the background is perfect, I can definitely see her in that kind of environment. You should always do it. I see you are very good in Gmod and should always do your best. If you could make this better, I bet I would die! You are very talented! Keep up the good work!

Its Poser but I made the horn and wings in meshmixer06 for props. If I had gmod I would have used a luna or nightmare moon model but those aren't rigged in poser yet.

If you google meshmixer06 you should be able to find it. I'm not sure how to convert the obj files it makes into gmod props though... there are people that can but I'm not one of them ^^;

Yes, google meshmixer06. Its a free program. Sculptris and Blender are also free programs. Blender is hard though ^^; Sculptris is easy but you tend to get polygon heavy pretty quick and the models are hard to texture.

Not really. Not compared to Poser or even Gmod.
